Grounded in Lived Business
and Leadership Experience.

I support business owners to build sustainable, fulfilling businesses so they can lead with awareness and confidence while supporting their clients, team, family, and themselves.

Greater Business Clarity

Psychologically Safer Workplaces

Hi, I'm Lisa

Why I Started This Work

Prosperise Coaching came from my own experience learning how to lead while running a business. At the time—and in the work I’ve done since—I kept noticing the same thing: really capable people stepping into business ownership or leadership roles often don’t have the support they need as leaders, which can make it harder to build a business that feels sustainable and works well for everyone involved.

With over 20 years working as a podiatrist and running my own healthcare clinic in Melbourne, I experienced firsthand the realities of business ownership. Like many small and medium business owners, I initially focused on technical expertise, strategy, and management. Over time, I realised leadership capacity — and particularly self-awareness — was the piece that made the biggest difference, yet it’s often overlooked in traditional business education.

Alongside working as a podiatrist and running a multi- disciplinary practice, I have also spent time working in mental health settings. That experience deepened my understanding of wellbeing and what people bring into their work, which continues to shape how I approach coaching today.

The Reality of Running a Business

My clinic journey included periods of significant personal change — raising a family, relationship strain, and eventually burnout. Those experiences shaped how I think about sustainable leadership and what business ownership really asks of people over time.

Looking back, coaching is something I wish I had engaged with earlier. It would have given me space to reflect, strengthen boundaries, navigate hiring decisions more confidently, and handle feedback conversations with greater clarity. In summary, I would have been a much nicer and more effective employer!

Why This Matters

Owning a business is different from being an employee. It often becomes part of your identity and carries responsibility for others as well as yourself. Unless you’ve lived it, that weight can be hard to articulate.

I work with professional services businesses owners through various periods of growth to help then identify what they need and how they want to lead.

How I Partner With Clients

Leadership Coaching for Business Owners

Leadership development coaching supports business owners to think clearly, make confident decisions, and navigate the pressures that come with running and growing a business.
It focuses on real workplace situations — communication, role clarity, confidence in decision-making, and managing complexity — rather than theory or generic training.

Using an evidence-informed coaching approach aligned with ICF professional standards, the process creates space for clearer thinking, steadier leadership behaviour, and sustainable ways of working that support both business performance and personal wellbeing.

Workplace Supervision/Check-In

This service is designed for small to medium businesses with more than 10 employees that don’t have an internal HR function but want a clearer, evidence-based way to understand how their team members are experiencing work. It provides a structured opportunity to check in on engagement, workload, communication, and workplace conditions before issues become bigger problems. The aim isn’t performance management, but insight — helping business owners make informed decisions that support both staff wellbeing and sustainable business outcomes.

Identifying your needs and developing your business approach starts with a conversation

If something just doesn’t feel quite right, that’s reason enough to start a conversation. You don’t have to know exactly what you need — we can work out the next steps together.

If you’re genuinely ready for support or exploring next steps in your work or business, you’re welcome to get in touch. These questions help me understand where you’re at so our first conversation is useful.
